Started watching yesterday, I have both seasons on DVD, recent acquisition. It was the boxes that drew me in. I saw the box covers on seller sites as I was scouting for other titles. The name rhymes with BARELY LEGAL which is something else entirely! But with a girl that hot on the box cover you could get me to go for L.A. LAW even. I'm not into courtroom dramas, I think I've got GUILTY AS SIN in my collection, and DYNASTY spend ages in court. All this just to point out that the theme is not my kind of thing. But Sarah Shahi sure is. She is amazing, especially on the close-ups, when she cocks her head, those eyes, okay, you get the picture, pretty lady, very likable character. The world needs mediators. And the world needs more Sarah Shahis.
I appreciate that the main antagonist, the stepmother boss, is not a cardboard character. In fact, I cannot fault her. It's a much better approach than a cold villainess type.
I'm not too thrilled about being up to my ears in lawyers for the next few weeks, but with S.S. to watch, fine, fine.
Put another way, if it wasn't such a pretty lady, I wouldn't have been here.
