Carrisi is certainly one of the best writers we have around, I loved almost all of his novels, I am the abyss is certainly one of the best and this film adaptation is very faithful, perhaps less valid than the book, but still very interesting and above all denotes that Carrisi also has great talent as a director, a talent that had already been seen with his two previous films.
Also in this film there are disturbing and disturbing atmospheres, the pace is slow, but the film is never boring, the cast, although made up of little-known actors is still excellent, especially Gabriel Montesi who offers an absolutely terrifying and scary character.
Unfortunately, having already read the novel I knew all the scenes, but those who have not read the book will be able to enjoy a really cool thriller.
