Royal court-acquainted count Leon de Forceville's falconer Joppe Devroe, in-living son of estate caretaker Roger, makes a fatal, only apparently accidental fall from the castle's falconry tower. Only the count's daughter Amber, who found the corps, seems deeply grieved, despite her impending wedding with rich contractor Cedric Schots. Van In enjoys taking charge of the high profile case to escape commissioner duties. Joppe was Amber's childhood best buddy, and send the count a recording of her having sex in the castle while Cedric was abroad. The count has an adulterous alibi, but it may be leak. Roger had a fight with his son, allegedly over Joppe's intention to leave on a world tour. So who knew more then he or she could accept?
