good intentions
19 August 2016 | by KirpianuscusSee all my reviews

a subject with great potential. nice stories. and a ball of scenes. result - a film who suggest few interesting ways but it ignores to use any. far to be a bad film, it represents only collection of fragments for the viewer who could imagine the final result. because the relation with the elder brother, the jealousy, the need of love, the ambiguity of feelings are good start points for a decent film. but, maybe, the ambition of Craig Boreman is too high . and this is the basic sin of Drowning. sure, a short film is not an easy mission, but the real problem is not this. but the actors, absence of a coherent story, a lost credible motivation of gestures. short, a good option. for the imagination of the viewer.
