Storyline

Shot as a 'head on' monologue and edited 'backwards' in a deliberately rough and ready fashion, 'Head on Backwards' reveals the short life story of an insignificant pub-brawler. Though his confession appears at first to be darkly comic in tone, as more information is revealed, the disconcerting narrative builds into a tragic and surprisingly moving testament to a wasted life of anger, shame and self-delusion. Written by David Griffith
