Bloodlines

Damon rescues Elena from the accident and takes her to Georgia to meet the barmaid Bree, who is a witch and was his former lover, expecting that she could help him to release Katherine from the tomb under the church with a spell. She tells that it is not possible and makes a phone call. Meanwhile Stefan meets Bonnie hoping that she could contact Elena, but she realizes that she lost her powers. Jeremy befriends a girl that tells him about the vampires in Mystic Falls. Elena is abducted by a vampire and when Damon finds her, he is attacked by the vampire that was Lexi's boyfriend. Alaric Saltzman is actually a vampire slayer that is seeking out in Mystic Falls the vampire that killed his wife.

"Bloodlines" disappoints with the deceptive attitude of Elena, who is an unstable character indeed. Did she forget what Damon has done in Mystic Falls with Stefan, Caroline, Bonnie, Mr. Tanner, Lexi and others? I really did not like her road trip to Georgia with Damon. The relationship of Bonnie's grandmother with Stefan is one of the best moments of this show. Jeremy again is an uninteresting character in this series. Alaric Saltzman is a sort of "Van Helsing" or "Buffy" and is a promising character. My vote is seven.
