Obsessed with numbers since childhood,maths teacher Saz Paley, having discovered that most women marry their eleventh sexual partner, does just that,tying the knot with dishy doctor Dan Fenn. One of the wedding guests, handsome Australian Alex, whom Saz assumes was her 'number nine',tells her that she was too drunk for intercourse on their night together, and she is unwise enough to tell Dan that her plan has been thrown off course.
