Trivia

Guest stars Rob Stewart and Ian Tracey starred together in a show in the 1990s called Sweating Bullets (aka Tropical Heat in some countries). Stewart was the male half of a detective team with a female partner and Tracey was the comic relief as the owner of the Tropical Heat Bar on Cay Moriah. The show ran for 3 seasons and was fairly popular worldwide. Not sure if Tracey and Stewart ever starred together again before the second episode of this ok show, Republuc of Doyle, but the writers gave a nod to the classic 90s show, having Doyle make the comment that Stewart's character probably wasn't guilty as when told the news of another character's death, he wasn't "sweating bullets."
