Brother's tardiness has become such an inconvenience for others, that he's given a wristwatch to correct the behavior.

The episode starts out with Brother eating breakfast. Papa tells him to get a move on, because the bus will be picking him up soon. The bus arrives and Sister hops on. Grizzly Ted asks where Brother is. Sister says that he's running late again. She commands him to honk the horn. Brother arrives on the bus and tells him that he was having trouble finding his blue hat and that Mama told him to wear the red one, but because it has teddy bear crest on it, he's too old for it. He sits next to Lenny who is playing his new Game-Bear. Brother asks if he could try, but Lizzy says that she's going next because Lenny promised. Lenny suggests that Brother should come over to his house after school. After coming home, Brother realizes that dinnertime is over. Although Mama saved leftovers for him in the fridge, He becomes upset. Papa said they only ate without him, because Mama's meatloaf was getting cold. Brother asks why everyone is so annoyed. Mama says it's because he kept them waiting for half an hour. Brother sees a gift on the table. Mama says it's his. Although Brother accepts the gift, He asks what did he do to deserve it. Mama says that it's for his birthday. Brother tries to tell everyone that his birthday is next month. But Sister suggests that he can use right away. Brother opens the gift and finds a Mighty Super Bear watch. Mama already set the alarm for some important times. At 6:00 he has to get out of bed 7:00 he should be waiting for the bus outside and 8:00 he has to come inside for dinner. The next morning, after Brother is finished eating his bowl of cereal, he asks for another one. But his alarm goes off. Before he can go outside and wait for the bus. Sister is excited, because Mama's taking her to the bookstore to see Ursula Major. She tells Brother that she is an author that wrote The Big Dipper Mysteries. Brother asks if he could come. Sister says yes, and asks what time they're going. Sister says at 4:00 After school, Brother comes over to Lenny's house to play with his new Mighty Super Bear action figures. When his alarm goes off, he spends a little more time playing. And when he leaves, He realizes Sister is angry, because he was supposed to come home at 4:00, but was too busy playing at Lenny's. When Mama Sister and Brother arrive at the bookstore it is closed. Sister becomes upset. But Mama assures that Ursula Major might vist the bookstore again. Brother tries to make Sister happy by telling her these things happen. But Mama reveals that she didn't say that. Although he is right, She tells him that his coming home late didn't help matters. Brother says that next time he should pay closer attention to his watch. But Mama says that a watch doesn't take him where he has to be and that it's up to him to decide if he wants to be on time. Brother says he wants to be on time, he just gets busy with things sometimes. Sister angrily tells him that next time that he gets busy with things, she says to not mess up her time.—Jack Ortega
