Wow, Netflix put out a beautiful teen drama about teens living and falling in love in Los Angeles, California. I don't see that often on tv shows even for teens. I really loved this story about 2 different teens that work hard to get to where they want to go in life and also their love life. I like that they parents of both teens care and love and communicate with the kids. I have never heard of actor Michael Cooper Jr, before this show. But If Netflix gives this show another season then I hope that he comes back for season 2. Also actress Lovie Simone put out a very beautiful performance I also hope that she will come back for a season 2. I hope we get to see them in college.

I've never written a review on here but I enjoyed it so much; a beautiful story line, with themes relatable to most people in some sort of way, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic about high school whilst watching the characters navigate their lows and highs. BUT particularly why I love this: it's the first time I've watched a show filmed partly from the perspective of a neurodivergent/ADHD protagonist, which can helps us late diagnosed ADHD individuals to understand our past and current behaviours, experiences, situations, emotions, identity.
Justin and Keisha are so adorable, cheeky and both actors did a fantastic job at creating an eye-catching performance that was believable. Oh and their chemistry is on fire. The show is filmed and written in a realistic style which only heightens its relatability and vulnerability in illustrating emotion that tugs on your heart strings.
I'm no critic so it may not be artistic perfection but even if you just enjoy the romance genre; you should definitely watch it.

I laughed, cried, cheered, smiled. I got angry, I yelled, I clapped. I experienced so many different emotions watching this series. It was like I knew the characters and could really feel and understand what they felt. Absolutely incredible and would love a season two!
This is a Netflix film that cannot go without giving another season. It's called forever, so what's next. Where does life take everyone? Does old people get the opportunity to find each other again? Or do we meet new people?
I truly recommend this series to people who love, love because it was felt, heard and seen. It teaches life lessons also.
AMAZING JOB TO THE ENTIRE CAST AND PRODUCTION TEAM!

A really great series. Honestly, one of the best teen romance series I've seen in a very long time. It wasn't too corny, it wasn't too much, it was just right. The perfect amount of intensity. While you're watching, it actually feels like you're reflecting on your own past teen love story. It felt real. You really feel the emotions the characters are going through. It was perfect. And I love that we finally have a series that portrays Black love so beautifully. Overall One of my favourite new shows of the year so far! Amazing acting, writing, directing, music... I'm actually blown away. Don't sleep on this!. I hope we get to see more development of the other cast in season 2!
I absolutely loved this series. There aren't many new beautiful Black love stories out there, and this one truly stood out in such a special way. The ending was heartfelt, emotional without a sad tragedy. I was in tears of happiness at some points, completely drawn into every scenario that unfolded, as the story felt so real and relatable. The selected soundtrack was perfectly chosen, and fitted amazingly well, enhancing each moment with so much depth and emotion.
I couldn't stop watching and ended up finishing it in one day. What moved me most was seeing the maturity and deep bond portrayed across different generations, it was powerful to witness love through so many lenses. I genuinely want more. It would be amazing to see future seasons, watching these characters grow and evolve as life continues.
We don't get black shows like this often enough. Thank you to the writer, director, and producer for crafting such an authentic and beautiful love story.
