TP series: R.I.P.
Girlfriends Films released this vignettes feature on VOD rather than DVD, and basically killed off the venerable "Twisted Passions" series, with its beloved lesbian brothel known as the Lamoyne Hotel. It also silently ended a project I alone admired: the portmanteau series called "Thornhill Diaries", of which Twisted Passions provided primary content.
Instead of a story with characters, this is merely four unrelated vignettes, providing explicit lesbian sex in a romantic vein. But the kinkiness and "twisted" nature of the previous material is absent.
Saving grace is the presence of hot starlets -natch, since "all-sex" is apparently the goal of management at Girlfriends in this hastily post-DVD era of distribution. My current new fave Jackie Huff is alluring in her role as an ex-lover obsessed with teacher Olive Glass, who crawls into sleeping Olive's bed (coming out of nowhere) and seduces her. Like the other segments, the acting/dialogue set-up to each sex scene is brief and minimal.
In fact, one scene is all-sex, with no dialogue or intro, as Lauren Phillips and young Harley Haze make love in sexy lingerie, replete with garter belts -evidently to compete with Marc Dorcel content.
Charlotte Stokely stars in a scene where she confronts bedmate Alyx Star with a framed photo she finds in a dresser drawer, showing Alyx with another girl shot right in front of the same bed (distinguished by its headboard) they're sleeping in. This bit of drama is soon overcome, and Stokely orgamically enjoys the humping provided by busty Alyx.
Production value is so low and creativity is so lacking that another scene has another couple humping in exactly the same bed, obvious after explicit calling to attention to the headboard, and I noticed that the bedroom furniture and paintings on the wall were also the same as before, evidence of the crummy assembly-line approach Girlfriends has often been prone to.
Sex on a couch is the content of an ethnic Liv Revamped/Ember Snow sex scene, after they have a quickly forgotten tiff concerning infidelity. It all adds up to three hours of sex filler.
