Storyline

Impressed with Chuck's recent performance, Shaw gives him the lead in a full-danger operation: catching and impersonating mysterious hit-man Rafe Gruber, recruited by the Ring for a yet unspecified killing. Casey gives sniper-cover while Shaw and Sara observe, posing as a couple. Chuck gets the job, but discovers only frightfully late that his target is none other then Shaw, whom he and the Ring duo hiring him spy on, thus learning something about Sara's true identity. Trivia

Sarah says Gruber is one of 5 people who can hit a target from half a mile away. Usually sharp-shooter distances are in yards or meters. There are many snipers who can make 1000 meter shots (well over a half a mile) and there have been several confirmed kills at over 2000 meters. See more »

Goofs

Near the end, Casey is trying to find Chuck. Right before Chuck bangs on the door where Shaw and Sarah are located, Casey is shown at the computer. The message pops up with "Trace Signal Loctated Chuck Bartowski". "Loctated" should be "Located". See more »

Quotes

Sarah Walker: No, it's not the mission. It's *everything*. It's how he pulled out Casey's tooth, and how he burned that asset a couple weeks ago. And the way he lies to Hannah. I mean, uh, it's so easy for him. Chuck's changing.
Daniel Shaw: Chuck's becoming a spy.
Sarah Walker: I know... But lives are being affected here.
Daniel Shaw: Sounds like he's not the only one changing.
Sarah Walker: It's like I'm watching Chuck disappear, and the further he gets from who he is, the more I wanna remember who I am. Who I was before all of this.

Let's start a new drinking game

Take a shot every time Chuck says "I'm sorry". You'll be wasted halfway through every episode. Which is good because you'll need it -- this show has turned into nothing but a crappy sappy soap opera. What a waste. Maybe the PTB should have ended this series when they'd planned -- after season 2. "Chuck" is now a (s)hell of its former self.
