Storyline

The true heartfelt story of a young girl's spirit and determination to follow her beliefs. Grace wanted an end to slavery and became an ardent Lincoln supporter. She admired her candidate but was concerned his shallow long face might hinder his chance at becoming the next president. Grace took pen in hand and advised her idol to change his appearance by growing whiskers. Lincoln took the eleven year old's advice, won the election, and thanked her in person on his way to Washington. Grace's letter changed the face of a nation and possibly the course of history.
