Like most movies these days its to be expected that the trailer would be better than the movie but this one takes the cake imo. The plot could've been better, the acting was mediocre, but the worst thing of all for me was the inaccuracy about Saint Lucia. The least they could've done was include real locals as the tour guide or Coconut Bay employees or something. You don't really get to see Saint Lucia either its just the hotel and a few clips of Soufriere (Home to the Pitons). They also pronounce a lot of things wrong its just off putting really. I mean why do it in Saint Lucia if there's nothing Saint Lucian included? . This movie could've been something great if they had just been honest about a few more things I know they would have had the support of the citizens in Saint Lucia. What a shame, hopefully someday somebody will do it right.
Saw this hoping it would be good. Okay but not much re Saint Lucia, filmed in one of the hotel complexes so not seeing the real island. Sadly St Lucia tourism missed a good chance here to get something good and include islanders. It will never bear Water from the 1980's.
Not sure it would work on the island but for those around the world who want to go to an island. You could go anywhere if you just want to see a hotel.
Sadly locals in St Lucia are forgotten and most hotels there have lucians working but never get any credit. So much more could have been done with this film. But st lucia tourism never see what could be done. I had an idea for this back in 2018.

Very cute story, really lovely tropical setting and awesome tropical music at the hotel and the soundtrack. Of course, it's completely predictable, but that's OK. Aren't they all? I thought the story was better than most. It was focused on animal conservation, so not the usual coffee shop or bakery or ranch setting. The two main characters are pretty attractive, so it was believable they would be attracted to each other and be a couple, which is not always the case in romance movies. She has an ex that's easy to dislike and the hotel staff are a good group of likable people. There's a beautiful wedding that happens at the hotel (not the main couple). The ending of the movie is better than most romance movie endings.
