The studio and producers desperately wanted Beyoncé for the role of Ally. She was attached to the project back in 2015, but decided to pass on it to focus on her music. Writer Camilla Blackett was in talks to re-write Bradley Cooper's script then and stated that the first thing she said in the meeting was that Beyoncé didn't have nearly enough lines. But when he takes Ally for a drink, he goes to the cop bar and the cop says "you come here every night" so why didn't Jack just go there from the beginning? This movie really touched my heart, it really is the best movie of the year and everyone should see this masterpiece. I was impressed by Gaga's acting skills, she deserves an Oscar! And her voice.... Omg she is so perfect, the song I Will Never Love Again is so majestic
