Storyline

Bike messenger Caleb Shimansky is killed by a masked man in a stolen black sedan. Caleb carried only one package, for Sally Niedermeyer, whose name the courier firm had written down incorrectly Shakir Nidal Mattar's; a name on a terror watch list. It was a package her nephew, Brian Thompson, had asked her to keep safe when he went to prison 10 years ago. Shortly after the call to have her deliver the package, he was killed by another inmate. The package contained proof that he was innocent even though he had confessed to the murder of Olivia which was being investigated by, then, Detective Roy Montgomery. This chain of events started when the money his family was receiving for his son's medical bills stopped coming. Castle's connections help investigating the original murder of Olivia, which soon points to the extremely wealthy and politically influential Wellesley family. But which one and why? After the driver gets back in the car and drives away, the bicycle is much further away from the car, facing a different direction, and laying on its other side. See more »
