I love Science Fiction Movies and this is one of the very best.
It's rare for a Sci-Fi Movie or any movie nowadays to attempt to say something in these politically correct times for fear of being preachy and yet this movie dares to do so. This movie(in a subtle way) touches on issues of race, gender , faith & European hegemony that is clever and thought provoking. It also dazzles you with enough visual eye candy and ballistics to keep you enthralled for its run time. The pace of the film is neither too slow or too fast. Its just right like so many other things in the film. Humor is also used to good effect in the movie to misdirect the audience and keep it off balance and set up moments of high tension and action.
