Alex wakes up to find herself back in 1983 where Gene Hunt is on the run after shooting her, three months previously. His unit is being run by none other than Ray! Meanwhile the rest of the unit in involved with the abduction of Dorothy, a young girl, on her way to school. To make matters worse a ransom is demanded by the kidnappers, and it's up to the team to find the culprits - fast. Written by Anonymous
Having enjoyed the end of series 2 so much, I really wanted to like this. 1983 was my year musically so loving the songs but the storyline was thin and some of the cast have changed their styles. Loving Keeley in heels but she looks so much taller than the rest of the cast now which looks awkward in close ups and her hair didn't look great. Some great humour again. Will have to keep watching to see if it was worth making this third series.
