Trivia

Camcorders were introduced in 1983. Sony's Betamax version, the Betamovie BMC-100P, was the first, followed by VHS camcorders from Panasonic, RCA, and Hitachi, that recorded on full-size VHS tapes. These models could not be held in one hand and were usually carried on the shoulder of the operator. See more »

Goofs

The meet with the kidnappers is said to take place at the back of West Ham United's Upton Park Ground . The area shown on the show looks nothing like the ground. The ground doesn't have the type of flats behind it as shown and shown in very Suburban area. See more »

Strike while the irons are hot

Having enjoyed the end of series 2 so much, I really wanted to like this. 1983 was my year musically so loving the songs but the storyline was thin and some of the cast have changed their styles. Loving Keeley in heels but she looks so much taller than the rest of the cast now which looks awkward in close ups and her hair didn't look great. Some great humour again. Will have to keep watching to see if it was worth making this third series.
