Battle of the Blades is a Canadian celebrity ice skating competition, which pairs professional ice hockey players with prominent figure skaters to perform ice dancing routines. All competitors win donations to their nominated charities, depending on their placement in the competition. Written by Chazzbat
First off ram-30, Dragon's Den is NOT an original Canadian show it's English. Also, Battle of the Blades sounds a lot like the UK show, Dancing on Ice. To say "no other country would have the" whatevers to do a show like that....WRONG!
So, before you go spouting absolute rubbish and making wild assumptions in a TV show review section just to try and big up Canada, try to remember that, in Canada, you are not aware of EVERY OTHER SHOW that has ever been on TV in the world.
Finally, Canadian Idol was not a rip off of American Idol as both the Canadian and American versions are rip-offs of the UK show Pop Idol.
To say you're as bad as an American for assuming that "if it hasn't happened I my country it never has" is an understatement. Then again, what do people say Canadians are, brainless Americans? Sounds about right to me.
