Marcus and Mike have to confront new issues (career changes and midlife crises), as they join the newly created elite team AMMO of the Miami police department to take down the ruthless Armando Armas, the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel.
This movie makes a number of jokes about both Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey getting older. Throughout the movie, Mike is constantly telling Marcus to wear his glasses, and Marcus calls out Mike for dyeing his facial hair black. In real life, Martin Lawrence wears glasses and, according to Michael Bay, Will Smith's hair was going gray when Bad Boys II (2003) was being filmed. See more »
