Bamfestpdx and ‘Sonicsgate’ coming to Portland

Bam: Beer and Movie Fest, Portland’s first annual beer and theater pub festival, was co-created by local film buff Jacques Boyreau (Jboy Promo), Aaron Mesh (screen editor for Willamette Week) and Beer Northwest Magazine, in an effort to showcase Portland’s theater pubs and craft beer. It will run from February 10 – 27.

There’s bringing Alien, Big Trouble in Little China, Raging Bull and more to the Portland big screen along with some of your favorite beer.

Sonicsgate: Requiem For A Team,” the critically acclaimed documentary chronicling the true story of the Seattle SuperSonics’ tragic demise, has been selected for the Beer And Movie Fest (Bam) in Portland, Oregon. “Sonicsgate” will screen at the Bagdad Theater & Pub (3702 Se Hawthorne Blvd.) on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 7:15 P.M.

Bam is a two-week, four-venue, 50-film screening festival in Portland from Feb.
