Appalling movie
26 July 2015 | by jbaxter1960See all my reviews

I had the misfortune of having the television on when "Nature Calls" came on late the other evening. Enjoying some of Johnny Knoxville's work I thought I'd sit down and watch it. What I watched was appalling degrading cultural stereotyping especially of Thiecoura Cissoko's character Dwande, the mocking religious beliefs, 79 minutes worth of unnecessary bad language and other stereotypical roles (especially those towards women) being over-played. What I also found astounding is the movie is aimed at a young audience with a sizable child cast. Why does Hollywood think producing this crap is wanted and does it take a moment to weigh up it's own moral values to the audience it seeks to empress. An absolutely appalling movie to which all copies should be burnt. Shame on you Knoxville.
