This movie has a target: the Fox watching, ghost-believing conservative American. Unless you are not in their target market, be ready for over an hour of awful acting, predictable plot with sprinkles of American Idol, Reuben Studdard included. All the stereotypes are there, from the pastor jump-starting the career of the little Christian boy to the ghost of the kid's dad in fatigues, with the three judges including the rude one, the comedian (a rip-off, quieter version of Larry the cable guy) and the one in the middle. The reason why I grade it a 2 and not a 1? No Kirk Cameron or Kirk Cameron nonsense. There are better ghost/feel good movies out there, much worst movies as well, but unless you are hoping for a movie like that, you will be sorely disappointed for that waste of time.
