Mischa smuggled drugs in her cello case unbeknown to her but forensics reveal an unexpected link between victim and killer, giving the reason for the murder as personal. For the Love of Music
1 December 2015 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

Kurt probably loves music more than anything else. He has a classical library and he knows exactly how many recording he has, to the exact number. Here he has attended the concert of a renowned Russian cellist. What he doesn't know is that she is in a witness protection program and that there are bad people after her. Following the concert, her car is blown up. She is burned but survives due to Kurt's quick actions. He had just talked to her in the parking lot and saw her get into the car. But there is much more to her story because the Russian mafia and some drug kingpins are using her to transport their stuff. Now Kurt and the force must find a way to protect her. This is where it gets a bit silly. It would seem that at times some of the most cockeyed decisions are made by the police. In this case, she is being kept hidden in an engine room on a tugboat that has been modified as a living space. Don't ask. There is another subplot involving homosexuality and its implications in Russia. It's an entertainingly offering, but there are some pretty questionable decisions made. And a LOT of luck.
