Storyline

Valerie (Seyfried) is a beautiful young woman torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider, Peter (Fernandez), but her parents have arranged for her to marry the wealthy Henry (Irons). Unwilling to lose each other, Valerie and Peter are planning to run away together when they learn that Valerie's older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village. For years, the people have maintained an uneasy truce with the beast, offering the creature a monthly animal sacrifice. But under a blood red moon, the wolf has upped the stakes by taking a human life. Hungry for revenge, the people call on famed werewolf hunter, Father Solomon (Oldman), to help them kill the wolf. But Solomon's arrival brings unintended consequences as he warns that the wolf, who takes human form by day, could be any one of them. Oh my god, I want my money back
16 August 2011 | by beebopchef83See all my reviews

This movie is so bad I took the time to register on this site. I can tell it was by the director of twilight, because it is a movie for 12 year old girls. The lamest adaption I have seen, i think in my entire life. I just cant figure out why Gary Oldman would do a movie like this. I mean god how s@#t is this movie, please don't waste your money like I did, learn from my mistake, let me be the only one wanting the hour and a half of my life back. It is lame. It is shallow acting. I wrote these last lines purely to make this review long enough to be posted. What else can I say, oh yeah, I am not a twelve year old girl so I also thought twilight was crap as well.
