Storyline

Plot Summary

DAfter S Tony Shap is hailed as a "super cop" by his co-workers, he begins a separate rogue investigation of the stabbing murder of an illegal Belarusian immigrant who worked for a sordid private detective agency. He also crosses an ethical line when he becomes involved with another Belarussian illegal, a beautiful girl who was an associate of the dead man. Janine is distracted by her son's school truancy and hostility toward her and the prospect of leaving the team via promotion. Key to the investigation is the wife of an ex-cop now running a shady taxi service. She was abused by an ex-husband, who is now free after serving eight years for her attempted murder.
