Star Wars Rebels Character Rumored To Appear In Episode IX

Due to the Star Wars Expanded Universe being passed off as the alternate Legends timeline when Disney bought up Lucasfilm and proceeded to make new movies set in that galaxy far, far away, many fan favorite characters from the novels have been wiped from continuity.

One who managed to survive, though, is Grand Admiral Thrawn, the sinister Imperial officer created by Timothy Zahn in his bestselling novels. Thanks to Star Wars Rebels, Thrawn was folded back into canon when Sherlock actor Mads Mikkelsen played the role on the third and fourth seasons of the animated series. Now, it seems that the character might be about to make another leap – into the movies.

Speaking at a panel at Comic-Con Revolution, Zahn explained that he has two new novels starring Thrawn in the works. However, they’re currently “in limbo” until Star Wars: Episode IX is finalized. Could this mean that Lucasfilm

Elementary Season 6 Episode 4 Review: Our Time is Up

Sometimes it helps to go light on the ongoing storylines and heavier on the case of the week.

This time, the case was personal for Joan on Elementary Season 6 Episode 4.

That's because the murder victim was her one-time therapist, who helped Joan with issues she was dealing with back in her sober-companion days.

This was pretty much a Joan spotlight episode. While Joan was sorting out her feelings, Sherlock did much of the heavy lifting, crime solving-wise. I don't even remember seeing Captain Gregson, and Marcus was in a handful of scenes.

It came down to the essence of the series: Sherlock and Joan.

Dr. Candace Reed was a good choice for the victim because she left behind a lot of potential suspects: patients, partner, the landlord.

Other than her husband, almost everyone else, except Joan, was a suspect in her murder.

Benedict Cumberbatch Signs Up For British Brexit TV Drama

Does Benedict Cumberbatch even sleep?

The Sherlock star can currently be seen on both the big screen – in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War – and the small one – in Showtime’s Patrick Melrose – and he’s got more projects lined up later this year, too, like animated movie The Grinch and cold war drama Ironbark. But apparently that’s not enough for Cumberbatch, as he’s now signed up to lead a one-off TV drama based on the real-life Brexit saga.

Channel 4 will air Brexit (working title), which is being described as a “political thriller” that follows the lead-up to the UK’s decision to leave the European Union, as voted for by a slight majority in the controversial 2016 referendum. In particular, it’ll focus on the winning Vote Leave campaign, which managed to persuade most people to go against the institution that the country had been a part of for forty years.

Will Michael B. Jordan win his first Emmy for ‘Fahrenheit 451’ in the wake of his ‘Black Panther’ success?

Will Michael B. Jordan win his first Emmy for ‘Fahrenheit 451’ in the wake of his ‘Black Panther’ success?
Michael B. Jordan is an Emmy contender this year for his leading role in the dystopian HBO telefilm “Fahrenheit 451,” which premieres on May 20. He plays Guy Montag, a “fireman” whose job is to burn books. The actor is coming off of a string of big-screen successes, including “Black Panther” earlier this year, and it’s not uncommon for an actor to leverage a recent movie hit into an Emmy victory. Will Jordan be the latest?

Jordan has risen in prominence thanks in large part to his collaborations with director Ryan Coogler. They first teamed up for the critically acclaimed independent film “Fruitvale Station” (2013) about an unarmed black man shot and killed by police in the Bay Area. Then they scaled up with “Creed” (2015), a modestly budgeted “Rocky” sequel in which Jordan played the son of former Rocky rival Apollo Creed. That film was also admired by critics, and it

“I am particularly pleased to commission James Graham’s hard-hitting and compulsive drama on how the Brexit vote was won with Benedict Cumberbatch in a new role,” said Channel 4’s Ian Katz. “It will be broadcast just ahead of our formal [exit] from the EU in March, assuming that we actually get around to leaving.”

“I’m so excited – not to mention a little nervous – to have this chance to try and get

Brexit, which is currently the production’s working title, is an utterly timely and compelling new political thriller from Olivier and Rts-winning screenwriter James Graham. Unpacking the anatomy of the historic, high-stakes campaign to win the hearts and minds of the British people, this one-off drama set primarily during the referendum will, for the first time, explore the myriad tactics employed to swing one of the most surprising referendum results in living memory. Benedict Cumberbatch Won’t Accept A Role Unless His Female Co-Star Gets Equal Pay

Now that the #TimesUp Movement is in full swing, the injustices that women face in the acting world are finally beginning to be put right. One of these is the common trend for leading actresses to be paid less than their male co-stars. A recent, and quite controversial example of this was the news that Claire Foy didn’t earn as much from Netflix’s The Crown as Matt Smith did, even though she’s 100% the star of the show.

One Hollywood heavyweight who’s doing everything he can to even out this divide is Sherlock and Marvel actor Benedict Cumberbatch. While talking to Radio Times, Doctor Strange himself revealed that he won’t accept a role unless his female co-lead gets the same pay as him. He encouraged other male actors to do the same, and actively work to decrease the pay gap between men and women in the industry.

Can ‘American Vandal’ overcome Emmy bias against funny limited series?

Can ‘American Vandal’ overcome Emmy bias against funny limited series?
American Vandal” is coming into Emmy season as a strong candidate for awards after earning Critics’ Choice nominations for Best Limited Series and Best Movie/Mini Actor (Jimmy Tatro), as well as a Writers Guild nom for Best New Series. But it faces a significant hurdle: its sense of humor. The movie/miniseries categories at the Emmys don’t distinguish between comedies and dramas like the continuing-series categories do, so you might expect to find a mix of comedies and dramas competing from year to year. But in reality the categories are overwhelmingly flooded with dramas. Will “Vandal” inspire the television academy to lighten up?

Vandal” premiered on Netflix in September 2017 with its eight-episode first season. It parodied true crime documentaries like the “Serial” podcast or Netflix’s own “Making a Murderer,” with a doggedly determined high school filmmaker (Tyler Alvarez) trying to get to the bottom of a mystery:
