Trivia

Shot over six short evenings in 2008 (due to a neighborhood ordinance the filmmakers only had 2-3 hours per night available for shooting at the chosen location) director Mader utilized two Panasonic HVX-200 cameras to capture all the coverage he needed in such a short filming window, plus a Cobra Crane and Stedicam rig to achieve a number of specialty shots which help raise the production value bar. He also studied the original Anime extensively and composed many of the setups as an homage to the animated series keeping the fans of the original show and its tone in mind while making the translation to live action.
