Trivia

The dummies of Rock and Pepe that are seen falling down the stairs were constructed out of material scavenged from a urine-soaked sofa the directors found on the side of the road. The same pants the actors wore during filming were used to dress the dummies. See more »

Over-the-top fun!
28 April 2010 | by darylhrdlickaSee all my reviews

This movie is just hilarious. The actors are over the top, but perfectly so; the plot keeps taking strange twists that somehow make perfect sense at the time so you never feel "stranded"; and the special effects are incredibly well done, when they're not being deliberately silly. I watched this with my kids, and they were laughing as much as I was. While I don't know if you can really call it a "family" movie, it is definitely one of the funniest things I've seen in years. The production is as good as many "real" movies, and you can tell they took the time to actually write a good movie, rehearse, and think things through. Give it a watch -- you won't be disappointed.
