When a criminal invades the CCPD, Barry and Kramer must trust and rely on each other if they are going to make it out safely; Caitlin learns a valuable lesson while out with Snow and Mark.

Barry and Kristin are among Goldface takes when he breaks into CCPD looking for a special weapon. The two of them much work together to stop the criminal. Meanwhile, Caitlin tries to have a date, but is less than happy when she runs into Snow and Mark.—Gislef

At STAR Labs, Chester, is at the console at monitor duties. He gets out his snacks, realizes he forgot them, and considers going to the kitchen. he decides against it, and Allegra comes in and says that she decided to surprise Chester with a snack. The alarms go off indicating several crimes, and Flash stops them all at superspeed and drops them off at the station. As he runs of, Kristen comes in and tells the officers to take them to holding. Barry comes in and Kristen tells him that the staff meeting is up. She points out that they don't know what crimes they committed, and says that she wishes the police and Flash were on the same page.

Later at the West house, Barry tells Joe and Cecile about what Kristen complained about, and they suggest it might be a good idea for Flash to have a good idea to Kristen. Barry figures he no longer needs the extra help he first started when he became Flash. Joe figures Barry should think about Kristin's desire for a direct line to Flash, and Barry should think about it.

At STAR Labs, Chester runs his blog and shows off his self-flying drone, Caitlin complains about all the social photos Snow and Mark have presented of their dates, and complains that what they're doing looks dangerous. Chester quickly turns off his camera, and Allegra suggests that Marcus taking Caitlin on a date might distract her from what her "sister" is doing. Chester figures Marcus will soon join the team, and Caitlin goes to get ready. Allegra and Chester get awkward about the possibility of them dating, and Allegra leaves.

That night at the station, Barry gives Kristin all of the reports he's filed on the three earlier criminals. Kristin figures it won't help with the next criminals Flash brings in, and Barry insists that the system works. She says that there's more they could do help the city if they worked together. When the elevator door open, a gas bomb goes off and everyone is knocked off. Goldface and his men come in, wearing gas masks, and "go to work".

Barry, Kristen, and the other officers wake up and discover that the intruders have put bracelets on them. Goldface introduces himself and says that they knocked out the nearby cell tower, and a couple of his men are posing as officers. Kristen gets up, confronts Goldface, and tells him to let her men go. Goldface calls over his man Cramer, who brings up a dummy. He explains that the bracelets are rigged to explode when he triggers a remote, and blow up the dummy.

Goldface recognizes Barry, and Barry says that he was on an undercover assignment, and then asks what Goldface wants. The criminal has heard that the police have something valuable in their armory, and they want it.

Caitlin goes on her date with Marcus, a botanist, but misschedules their reservation. Marcus is okay with that, and they go to a seedy bar where Snow and Mark are performing karaoke. Caitlin says that they need to leave, and Snow and Mark see them and come over. Mark knows about Marcus by reputation, and Snow suggest they go on a double date. Marcus agrees, much to Caitlin's disgust.

Kristin and Barry count the gang, and Kirstin figures they have enough people to take back the building. Barry refuses to say what Goldface is after, other than that he gets it things will get a lot worse.

Goldface and Carver break into the armory and find an empty weapon case. Goldface tells Carver to bring Kristin and Barry. When they arrive, Goldface demands to know where the meta bullets are, the he plans to sell. Kristin insists that she would die before putting the city's meta in danger, and Goldface wraps a gold chain around Barry's neck and threatens his life. Barry says that he can help Goldface get the bullets, which have traces of dark matter and he has a scanner in his lab. Goldface finally release Barry and takes Barry to the lab, while his men watch Kristin.

The two duos get together at a table, and have drinks, and Snow finally admits that she and Mark each spent some time on the wrong side of the law. Now they've turned over a new leaf, and Mark invites the other couple to go skydiving with them. Caitlin talks about how Mark seduced Snow, and Snow kept moping and crying about it. She finally asks why Snow is acting like a teenager and she won't pick up the pieces when Mark eventually breaks he heart again. Mark snaps at Caitlin, telling her that Snow is and adult and Caitlin needs to treat her as such. Caitlin asks if Snow is going to let Mark talk to her like that, and Snow smugly says that she is because Mark is her boyfriend and anything else is none of Caitlin's business. She walks off and Mark goes after her, and Caitlin tells Marcus that she wants to go home.

Barry works on the scanner, and Goldface watches over Barry's shoulder. Amunet finally calls Goldface, and they talk about the meta-bullets, and he assures Amunet that he's got it all worked out. Once Goldface hangs up, Barry says that Goldface and Amunet seem to have a good relationship. Goldface talks about how great a relationship he and Amunet have, and therapist Sharon Finkel have counselled them. Barry says that he needs more time, and Goldface figures Barry needs more relationship.

Carver brings Kristin in, and Goldface threatens to kill Kristin if Barry doesn't deliver. When Goldface threatens to kill Kristin immediately. He triggers a sonic device in the scanner, stunning Goldface and Carver. Kristin and Barry attack them, and Barry gives Kristin a pair of protective ear plugs and says that they have to leave. Goldface recovers enough to destroy the scanner, and tells Carver to find the escapees, which have ducked into a duct.

Barry and Kristin make their way to a storage room, and Barry says that they should look for any equipment to use to get the bracelets off. The bracelets have shut off, and Barry figures that Kristin's powers have adapted to shut down her bracelet. Barry suggests Kristin mimic Goldface's powers to defeat him, but she refuses and says that they should look for equipment to help.

Caitlin is drinking at the bar, and Mark joins her and Caitlin complains about him showing up. He says that they both care about Snow, and admits that he screwed up with Snow abandoning her and is trying to make it up. Mark also says that he came from a dysfunctional family, and Caitlin sounded like his Nana. Caitlin apologizes for blowing up, but figures that Snow deserves someone better. Mark says that they're all, not hiding from each other, and figures that Caitlin is more focused on hating him then her own date. He tells Caitlin that it's okay to be scared, and he and Snow both took leaps of faith and they're both better for it. Finally, Mark says that Marcus is a good guy and Caitlin should focus more on what she has to gain, and walks off leaving Caitlin with the tab.

Barry tells Kristin that her powers are the only hope of stopping Goldface, and she says that she can't control her powers. She hasn't had any luck controlling them, and there's no one to help her. Barry figures she wants Flash to help her, and Kristin admits that it's tough for her to ask anyone for help. She's also worried that she could kill someone, and she has no way to contact Flash.

Goldface puts a call out over the radio, telling Kristin to come out or he'll kill the other officers one by one. He gives Kristin two minutes, and Barry tells Kristin that she has to duplicate Kristin's powers, and trust her own instincts. Barry tells Kristin to distract Goldface while he gets his bracelet off, and Kristin agrees to confront the criminal.

Kristin goes to the bullpen where Goldface is, and tells him to release his hostage. She mimics Goldface's powers and take the gold chain he' using.

Barry manages to pry open of the bracelet and speeds away from the explosion.

Goldface takes control of his chain back and prepares to kill Kristin. Flash speeds in and takes out the gang, and tells Kristin that he helped Barry escape. Goldface's phone rings, and Goldface says that he'd do anything for love.

After Flash leaves, Barry comes in and tells Kristin that she was amazing. She thanks Barry that she couldn't have stood up to Goldface without his coaching. Barry says that she didn't need him, and asks where the meta-bullets are. Kristin tells him that she had the bullets transferred to ARGUS 35 weeks ago, and she was bluffing the entire time.

Caitlin is waiting for Snow to come. When Snow does, Caitlin apologizes and says that the reason she's been afraid to go all-in with Marcus because she lost Ronnie. She says that she envies the relationship Snow and Mark have, and Snow points out that she stabbed Mark. Caitlin tells Snow that she makes it look easy, and Mark told her that she needs to take a leap of faith with Marcus. She agreed to do a double date once she patches things up with Marcus, and Snow invites the couple to roller derby she and Mark are signed up for.

Flash goes to Kristen's office, and she thanks him for helping stop Goldface. He gives her a pager to reach him, and prepares to reveal his secret identity. Kristin has already worked out that Barry is Flash, and he says that he'd be glad to train her in being a better meta.

At the West house, Joe and Iris are finishing dinner. Joe goes to check on his baby daughter, and everything on the table disappears. Joe comes back, and says that he went to the garage and came back. Iris realizes that she had a time lapse, and her eyes briefly glow green.
