A fantastic perspective on Film History and image in the Internet Age

Dr. A. Max Tohline does a particularly outstanding job at creating a documentary which approaches a well-established editing technique with fresh eyes. His understanding of the Internet and its culture and history, combined with his acute knowledge of film, enables him to make observations about the way the perception of the Supercut has developed through changes in technology. An excellent and comprehensive thesis on technology, medium, and consumption of media seen through the lens of the supercut, I highly recommend this documentary to anyone interested in film history or editing whatsoever.
