  Yolanda Montez : This isn't about me. I mean, it is, but... okay, something terrible has happened. God isn't here on Earth to stop the devil, so... shouldn't we? Because if we don't, more people will get hurt.

  Father Thomas : I'm not sure I understand.

  Yolanda Montez : If I kill something truly evil... can I ever be forgiven?

  Father Thomas : Kill something?

  [suffering a headache, she flashes back to killing Brainwave] 

  Father Thomas : What have you done? What have you done? Yolanda?

  Yolanda Montez : The devil is real. And he's in Blue Valley.

• Yolanda Montez : I murdered someone.

  [getting no response] 

  Yolanda Montez : Father Thomas?

  Brainwave : [appearing in Thomas' place]  Tell me what else you're guilty of.

  Yolanda Montez : No.

  Brainwave : The death of my son... Henry, that was because of you, too.

  [leaving the confession booth, she tries to escape] 

  Brainwave : I'll admit, I underestimated you in the moment, but you underestimated me, too.

  [telekinetically blocking her escape route] 

  Brainwave : Even now... you can't escape.

  [telekinetically pulling her closer] 

  Brainwave : While my body died and you were gloating, standing over me, I sent my mind into yours. I'm a part of you now. I know how much you hate yourself, Yolanda. I've been drowning in your self-loathing for months. Your mind is weak because of it, which is why I'll be in control soon. Your body will be mine to use... and Brainwave will live again... through you.

  [sending a telekinetic blast of energy at her] 

  Brainwave : You've made so many bad choices. It's made taking control of your mind so easy.

• Brainwave : There you are.

  Yolanda Montez : Stay away!

  Brainwave : I can't. I'm with you... forever.

• Yolanda Montez : I didn't want anything from anyone. I just wanted to be left alone, but you couldn't do that.

  Courtney Whitmore : What?

  Yolanda Montez : Tell me, Courtney. Why did you do it? Why did you choose me? I wasn't supposed to be Wildcat. I wasn't supposed to hurt anyone!

  Courtney Whitmore : Yolanda, I...

  Yolanda Montez : [crying]  I'm never putting on that costume again. I quit.

• Yolanda Montez : I don't know if I can do this, Court.

  Beth Chapel : Do what? What's going on?

  Yolanda Montez : [Courtney nods in encouragement]  I... I killed Brainwave.

  Rick Tyler : What?

  Beth Chapel : I thought he died when the tunnels caved in on him.

  Courtney Whitmore : I know we said that, and we're sorry, but...

  Yolanda Montez : Brainwave made himself look like Henry. He was talking to me. He was apologizing. But... I knew it wasn't him. So I used my claw... I used my claws and... I watched him die.

  Rick Tyler : Well... I would've killed Brainwave, too, if I had the chance.

  Yolanda Montez : Then why didn't you kill Solomon Grundy?

  Rick Tyler : My hour was up.

  Yolanda Montez : Was it? Or did you just let Grundy go because you couldn't do it? Because you're a better person than me?

  Rick Tyler : Yolanda, you did what you had to do for our team. Right, Beth?

  [turning to her after getting no response] 

  Rick Tyler : Beth?

  Beth Chapel : I don't know. I'm sorry.

  Yolanda Montez : Well, I do. None of you are capable of doing what I did. I know what's gonna happen when we find Eclipso. We're gonna have to kill him. So who's gonna do it? You, Rick?

  [to Beth] 

  Yolanda Montez : You? Court? No. And I don't want you to. I don't want you to have to life with that guilt... to know that you'll always be a killer in God's eye. So that means it's on me. I'm gonna have to kill Eclipso to save the rest of you. I'm gonna have to be the JSA member that kills.

• Courtney Whitmore : What happened?

  Yolanda Montez : It's not just the sounds, Court. I see Brainwave now. And Henry.

  Courtney Whitmore : This has to be Eclipso.

  Yolanda Montez : This has been going on long before Eclipso.

  Courtney Whitmore : Hey.

  Yolanda Montez : This is my punishment.

  Courtney Whitmore : For what? No. For protecting yourself?

  Yolanda Montez : Just forget it.

  Courtney Whitmore : Yolanda, no. Please talk to me. I'm here for you.

  Yolanda Montez : You don't get it, anyway. You've never had to make a choice like I did.

  Courtney Whitmore : L-Let's talk to Rick and Beth.

  Yolanda Montez : No.

  Courtney Whitmore : You think you have to face this alone, but you don't. They love you as much as I do, and let's tell them what happened. They'll understand.

  Yolanda Montez : And what if they don't?

  Courtney Whitmore : They will. And then we can face this as a team.
