While Lilly, her shy redheaded twin, loves to be left alone to curl up with a good book. Inseparable since the day they were born, Emma and Lilly have an insatiable desire to play matchmaker, even though they've never fallen in love themselves. Emma and Lilly find out their matchmaking skills are not just a gift from heaven, but rather because their father is actually Cupid (yes the guy who shoots bows and arrows). Did You Know?

The story has many of the same motivations for Brian Krause's role as did his role of Leo the Whitelighter/Angel on the witchy series "Charmed". Also his sister-in-law Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) DID marry a supernatural cupid, the main point of this movie. See more »

User Reviews

Entertainingly superficial, but it has a nice story
28 January 2019 | by tabunoSee all my reviews

This romance comedy has Brain Krause from Charmed and Lauren Holly from NCIS playing the estranged parents of two twin girls who from the trailers have unknowingly inherited their father's magical cupid powers. Unfortunately, unlike the expectations set up from the trailers and that magic enchanting the movie like Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic (1998), the magic doesn't really seem to light up the movie until more than halfway through the movie. The second half of the movie offers more sustaining interest and playful irony as the struggle with the twins attempting to fight for a boy they fall in love with diminishes into the background. This movie is entertaining superficially, but it has a nice story arch about sisters and falling in love and the message about helping not forcing love.
