Storyline

Fraternal twin sisters Emma and Lilly are as different as night and day. Emma, the beautiful blonde tomboy, would rather be riding a horse than anything else in the world. While Lilly, her shy redheaded twin, loves to be left alone to curl up with a good book. Inseparable since the day they were born, Emma and Lilly have an insatiable desire to play matchmaker, even though they've never fallen in love themselves. Emma and Lilly find out their matchmaking skills are not just a gift from heaven, but rather because their father is actually Cupid (yes the guy who shoots bows and arrows). As they enter their senior year in high school, Emma and Lilly finally fall in love. Life gets complicated when they discover they're in love with the same guy and they become bitter rivals as they try to win his affection. Sisterhood and matchmaking are tossed out the window like last year's shoes, as Emma and Lilly plot to sabotage each other, so they can win the heart of their dream guy. The sisters ... better than Peter Pan
10 July 2014 | by bexta532See all my reviews

An outstanding performance from Jeremy Sumpter, with an amazingly smooth delivery of such lines as "woah", "awesome", and "hi". I feel the other actors could have stepped up their game a bit, but their lack of talent is made up for by their amazing fashion sense. The costuming was superb. I was able to strongly relate to the character of Mr Valentine, as I myself was once Cupid. But I gave up that life for the woman I loved. And it was a worth-wile sacrifice; until I came home one day and caught her with Bill from accounting. I lost everything in the divorce; the house, my kids, even my pet Gofer – Reginald von Bootyshorts. I was so close to giving up on life; but then I saw this film and hope was restored. I owe my life to the makers of "You're So Cupid!", it has changed me for the better, in ways I never thought possible. I award this film 11/10, as it was a spiritual journey. A classic that will last through the ages.
