Trivia

As Henri digs into the disappearance of Sam's dad and what he found at the closed ore mill, the camera pans over what appears to be a map of earth but is actually the continents drawn on a star chart. Then, the eye-like symbol with nine circles Henri had been standing on in the mill, with lines through it and Earth locations written with latitude and longitude coordinates. 1) Malaysia - The coordinates are for Taman Negara, a national park. 2) London - a point on the south bank of the Thames just east of London City Airport. 3) Africa - A spot in the Sahara Desert, near Libya's east border with Egypt. 4) Florida - The first number in the longitude is difficult to read, before the decimal point, but for Florida it should say *negative* 80. That spot is in the water near Key West. See more »

Goofs

John is not human but Loric. The way things work in his body may not be the same as a human, so the scars on his legs could theoretically stay the same. Also, scars are not guaranteed to shrink as one ages. As he grows and his skin stretches, it would make sense that the scar would grow and stretch in a similar manner, especially if the scar is burned into his skin in a size relative to the size of his leg at the time. Good Show
20 February 2011 | by utchazSee all my reviews

I was thinking this would be filler for a dull afternoon. Indeed it was but I was also surprised to find I really enjoyed it. We also had the pleasure of watching it on iMax so that makes just about anything a little better. If you want to enjoy the evening then go see this one. You'll see some good acting and decent new actors. Give it a chance and I think this might be the next good "series" of movies you'll like. I say series because they left this one wide open to find numbers 5, and 7-9. I can easily see a whole trilogy or more just waiting for this one to make enough money to get it going. Although without some decent advertising they aren't going to get that... :(
