When this series was first under way, the acts as mother and father were played by Troels Trier and Anne Marie Helger who at the time were also a private couple. That changed when Trier met his later wife Rebecca Brüel. Consequently, Helger left the series and she was replaced in season two by Ingerlise Gaarde, now introduced as the children's grandmother.
