It;s about Danielle!
27 June 2009 | by See all my reviews

If this show wasn't about Danielle and the book and her past, the show would be lame series off the popular franchise. Without Danielle, the show would be reduced to Italian American women like Caroline, Dina and Teresa who are an embarrassment to their community shopping and talking about useless stuff. They were probably under the impression that this show wasn't going to expose them. They are wrong. This show exposes everybody not just Danielle. The book is really irrelevant but it's how it came into possession and her past that is morally unforgivable. This cast has some secrets that they are not willing to divulge to the public. They are not talking about Caroline and Dina's father-in-law, Albert Manzo I's murder in 1983 until the reunion. They just seem have an Axe to grind with Danielle or maybe they just need a scapegoat. Danielle's friendship with Jacqueline is straining her relationship with Dina and Caroline who hate is an understatement. Unfortunately, Danielle can't hide behind her family or even so-called friends for support but she can go to her daughters who are more mature, smart, and accepting of their mother's past.
