This throwback to cheesy 1980's slasher pics starts off promisingly with an unusual location, a gay conversion camp. For a short while it seems clever and smart and the gender confusion is both a little humorous and interesting and some of the gay "enrollees" are funny, some of the developing relationships between them interesting and some are just objects in the background whose purpose here with no dialogue is beyond me, but it goes downhill rather rapidly. Kevin Bacon's character is mighty predictable, though he's a competent actor even in the worst of roles. Anna Chlumsky, so good in Veep, shows her acting limitations here and one of the biggest misfires, besides the eventually awful script, is the casting of Theo Germaine. He at first seems perfect for the role until it requires some serious acting and he doesn't have what it takes. The ending of this goes from lame to ridiculous. You have been warned.
