A venerable man between work and home. Conscientous, hardworking, not the most sociable person , he has the badluck to be fired. At home, the only solution in this circumstances seems the radical one. But a problem must be fixed.

And, after all seems OK, an imprudent noble gesture becomes the obstacle. But the consolation did not missing.

A fascinating simple- simple story and profound beautiful performance of Jorge Gabino. And the feeling to see only a slice of ordinary reality , from lonely people to the routine of every day and the sellers with their good stuffs and remarks about too old fuse. Not the last, the profound inspired end.

In short, admirable short film.

Jorge brings a dogged, no-nonsense determination to his character. A seemingly simple protagonist who brings organization, steady work ethic and a fastidiousness to his chosen profession. The unassuming everyman we all rely upon in our workplace. I hope to see much more of this man in film. The casting seems very natural, as do the unfolding character interactions. The lighting, the gritty sets and the deadpan clerks are delightful. Sweet, funny and darkly serious all at the same time. Authentic NYC. Lessons in redemption.

As an amateur consumer of independent films, I found myself on a rollercoaster of emotion. All around a solid, professional production, and classic morality play.
