At the beginning of the show, Lt. Col. Burton is firing at a paper target. She fires 4 times and the slide locks back indicating the weapon is empty. After the camera changes angles, she fires a 5th shot and then reloads. When she is shown firing again, the hits shown on the target change location between scenes but are only 3 holes in both scenes. In the following scene at her home, she looks at the target and it has 7 much smaller holes in it.
At the beginning of the show, when Lt. Col. Burton is firing at a paper target the paper is shown torn from the rear side out, which indicates a small explosive charge was used to simulate the bullet hitting the target.
