Battle Scars

The planet Bracca, where war-machines left over after the Clone Wars are sent to be scrapped and recycled, was created for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019), as was the Scrapper Guild, of which the game's main character, former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, was a member. Cal was stranded on Bracca when his master, Jaro Tapal, overloaded their Venator-class cruiser's main reactor to create a distraction and give them cover to escape. Tapal was killed defending Cal from the ship's clone troopers, with his dying breath he gave Cal his lightsaber and shoved him into an escape pod, which crash landed on Bracca. In order to blend in and hide from the Empire Cal took a job with the Scrapper Guild and worked scrapping old ships from the Clone Wars.

In order to remove the inhibitor chips using the Jedi cruiser's med lab, Tech builds a separate brain scanning device to compare the Bad Batch's brains to Rex's (as Rex has already had his chip removed). When Ahsoka removed Rex's chip, she did so using only the equipment found in the cruiser's medical bay. No separate scanning device was required.
