Vatel is in charge of the reception to the king Louis XIV. With the prince's political ambitions at stake, its essential to please him. But when he falls in love with the king's lover, passion and duty seem to contradict each other.
The script is so well developed, great characters, that are perfectly portrayed by the actors. Michele Martin is someone to watch for in the coming year. I wish for a series of films based on Sophia's character, a book maybe? It's great to see independent film back again! I am looking forward to all of Terran's upcoming projects. I will gather the girlfriends for a Venus night! I'm waiting for a larger theatrical release. We have lost the love of Independent film these days trying to compare to the ridiculous high budget films, yes there will be flaws, it part of the beauty, Venus embodies all the wonderful elements of what we're missing these days from film making today. BRAVO! BRAVO!
