A very special film

This film was excellent, and I am very picky about films. I watched it twice and found myself wanting more at the end of the film. I felt like it could have been a bit longer in length. The film is appealing to a broad audience as it is a documentary about ordinary people in New Orleans. I was once a small business owner who struggled to survive and I think this film will especially resonate with anyone who has his or her own business or who cares about local businesses anywhere. The fact that the film takes place in New Orleans was culturally interesting to me because I have visited there before Hurricane Katrina and was curious to see the progress made and destruction still existing many years after Katrina hit. It is a wonderful city and the film portrays the positive spirit of the people there. What I enjoyed about the film was the abundance of community spirit shown amid so many obstacles. The film was inspirational and engaging. If you are looking for a fantastically executed documentary on small businesses and the people of New Orlean in a post Hurricane Katrina economy, this is your film.
