Sincere Exploration of Grace and Mercy

This episode shocked me. Its opening scene is the most like a horror movie of the entire series, and that is saying a lot. It was the worst part of this episode, so don't despair. The central portion of this episode is a surprisingly sincere and moving examination of two vital principles. The scene with Dahmer talking to the priest in prison is a clear, understandable, challenging and inspiring lesson on GRACE. Superbly well-done. And the following scene with Glenda and her pastor is a similarly thoughtful treatise on MERCY. Only God knows if Dahmer's decision that followed was sincere, but if it were, then even he could be forgiven. But not by men. The inmate who studied Dahmer's crimes sought JUSTICE, which is a different matter.

This is truly a fascinating and thought-provoking bit of work, and made the series overall better than it would otherwise have been. Good work.

    Awesome mini series

First of all, I wanna say I can't believe anyone would come on here and say anyone can be saved by God that's utterly ridiculous. If there was a God none of this horrible stuff would be happening to children and people This miniseries was spot on from what I remember, watching it unfold through the media and the newspapers. It couldn't get any more clear that he was a complete psychopath with deranged ideas and thoughts This series makes you mad sad but most of all more aware of what is going on around you. He was so sketchy with all the red flags from day one.

If you haven't seen it yet, please watch it And whoever really thinks that He was redeemed or forgiven by anyone, including a Supposed God can stick that thought where the sun don't shine.

    So sad

For dahmer to do all he did it was shocking to see him become a statistic of Scarver. Christopher Scarver is a scary guy! Wow. He doesn't seem violent in the beginning but he proved that he could be. Frightening guy and powerful scene. This is the best episode throughout the entire series. Dahmer did a lot of cowardly like killings, nothing worth talking about really. I was surprised to see that the series was 10 episodes. He had a good father though the mother was a part time nut case. That's no excuse. He had every opportunity to do something productive with his life he chose otherwise. It was disappointing to see lionel not willing to allow those that were killed families to receive compensation for the projects he had in plan. I expected more from him but people show who they are eventually. Anyway amazing episode! Brilliant job and well done to the director and writers!
