MPAA rated PG-13 for violence, bloody images, language and some smoking

Sex & Nudity

  • Selina wears a low-cut dress that reveals much cleavage.
  • Joker quips to Batman, "When the clock strikes 12, do I get a kiss?"

Violence & Gore

  • Typical action-violence similar Batman movies, including fistfights, kicking, punching, stabbing, shooting, electrocuting, and the like, most with minimal blood.
  • A man is shot to death while taking a bath. The bathwater fills with the victim's blood (resembling the recognizable comic panel). Despite the dark atmosphere of this scene, the act is more implied than shown, and there are no enter-wounds shown on the victim.
  • A man is shot three times by a shadowy figure while standing on the back of a ship. The bullets are shown flying through his body. He then falls into the ship's propeller and is cut to pieces and the water turns red with his blood as his remains rise to the surface.
  • Batman stabs a man in the leg with a thrown batarang and then rips it out of his leg. He then punches the bloody wound while interrogating him.
  • A man is thrown down a staircase to his death on the floor below. The impact is not shown but his corpse is shown lying in a pool of blood from a far distance.

  • One use of "Damn" one use of "Son of a B*tch", one use of "Sh*t", some uses of "God" and "Jesus" in a non-religious manner, and a humorous use of "Crappy"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Much more tame than most of DC's other DTV animated films in terms of violence and gore.
