Blake Lively Has the Perfect Comeback for Instagram User Who Calls Out Her Typo
Blake Lively isn't afraid to be the punchline.  The Simple Favor star was sharing a few photos from her night out with famous husband Ryan Reynolds when a fan noticed a minute error.  "Best friend. Owner of @aviationgin. Sexy Af. Here's lookin' at you, kid. @vancityreynolds," the star caption a series of shots of her and the Deadpool actor together earlier this week. However, the star made the itty bitty mistake of not leaving a space between her emoji and her tag for Reynolds' Instagram account. "I'm crying at her and the fact that she doesn't know she needs to put a space after an emoji for the tag to work," the Instagram user...

Is This New Promo For Deadpool 2 Teasing A Third Movie?

While the success of the Deadpool franchise is indeed no secret, it may shock you to learn that the wearer of “the big red body condom” – otherwise known as Ryan Reynolds – isn’t too sure if the foul-mouthed mercenary will be getting a third installment.

I mean, after seeing Deadpool 2 earn nearly $320 million at the domestic box office in 2018, not to mention well over $700 million worldwide – despite occupying the most hazardous window of release ever, mind you – naturally, you’d assume the logical next step for Wade Wilson would be Deadpool 3, right? Well, according to the Merc with a Mouth himself, it’d be a stretch of the imagination at best.

Early on during the press junket for David Leitch’s R-rated farce, Reynolds revealed that he didn’t know if “there would be a Deadpool 3.” And although since then the pride of Vancouver, British Columbia has

Concept art from the Tim Miller version of Deadpool 2 featuring Cable, Domino and Juggernaut

Illustrator Alexander Lozano has shared three pieces of concept art for the original Tim Miller version of the superhero sequel Deadpool 2 featuring early designs for Juggernaut, Domino, and Cable; take a look here…

Marvel’s motormouth mercenary is back! Bigger, better and occasionally more pantless than ever before. When a super soldier arrives on a murderous mission, Deadpool is forced to think about friendship, family and what it really means to be a hero – all while kicking 50 shades of ass. Because, sometimes, to do the right thing you need to fight dirty.

Deadpool 2 sees David Leitch (John Wick) directing a cast that includes returning stars Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al) and Karan Soni (Dopinder) alongside new additions Zazie Beetz (Atlanta) as Domino,

Deadpool 2 Scribe Explains Why The Passion Of The Christ Joke Was Risky

Though the Deadpool movies are known for their somewhat risqué humor, it probably wouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that Deadpool 2 co-writer Rhett Reese felt they were taking a slight gamble when they chose to include a joke about Mel Gibson’s controversial biblical drama The Passion of the Christ in Wade Wilson’s latest film. But while this wouldn’t be the first time that a religious gag has landed a scribe in hot water, the real reason Reese considered the joke to be a risk was less a matter of offensiveness and more of box office rankings.

To give a little context, Gibson’s 2004 film currently occupies the top spot on the list of highest-grossing R-rated pics in the Us. But while the Son of God has yet to be dethroned in this category, the Merc with a Mouth wasn’t far off, with 2016’s

Ryan Reynolds explains how Deadpool 2 chose its pop culture references

Ryan Reynolds, the star of Deadpool 2, has spoken about how the film chose its pop culture references and when to implement them.

One of the most fun aspects of Deadpool the character is his love of pop culture, referencing real-world individuals and events quite unlike any other superhero.

In the home video commentary for the Super Duper Cut of the film (via ComicBook.com), co-writer Paul Wernick and Reynolds had a chat about how these pop culture references come to be: “Talk about the delicate balance of pop culture references, Ryan. Kind of how we ride that line,” Wernick said.

“Yeah, you want them sprinkled throughout the movie,” Reynolds said. “You don’t wanna overdo, though, either, and you try to wanna find stuff that’s not, you know, as you guys know, that’s not just of the moment and out the next second. Sometimes they’re just off the cuff,

More Deadpool 2 Concept Art Reveals A Very Different Domino

Domino was one of two high-profile additions to the Deadpool 2 ensemble (the other being Nathan Summers/Cable), and you simply can’t fault Zazie Beetz’s performance as the walking, talking good-luck charm.

Originally designed as an X-Force member, Beetz’s character is among the few shortlisted for Drew Goddard’s mooted team-up movie (providing it moves forward), though our latest Deadpool 2 tidbit isn’t so much concerned with the future of Domino as it is with the past – specifically, Tim Miller’s initial pitch for the comic book sequel, which seemingly included a totally different take on the muscle-bound Juggernaut.

And that’s not all; as revealed by concept artist Alexander Lozano (h/t ComicBook.com), the Powers That Be originally wanted a hooded costume for Domino replete with heavy-duty firepower that wouldn’t look out of place in the video game series Metal Gear Solid. Sniper Wolf,

One Deadpool 2 Reference Needed Written Consent From Taylor Swift

You may have noticed that at one point during Deadpool 2, Wade Wilson is seen wearing a white T-shirt in honor of Olivia and Meredith, the two Scottish Fold cats belonging to Taylor Swift.

Unsurprisingly, 20th Century Fox and, more specifically, Ryan Reynolds and director David Leitch needed written consent from Tay Tay herself before deciding to shoehorn in yet another pop culture into Deadpool 2, the comic book sequel that’s now available across digital platforms.

Speaking of which, the digital release includes a special commentary track featuring Leitch and Reynolds – not to mention screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese – who discuss all things Deadpool 2, including the bleak opening and why they decided to cut a montage of the Merc’s multiple failed suicide attempts. Imagine Groundhog Day… only much darker.

And the Swift reference? If it wasn’t for Fox seeking permission, the reference wouldn’t have

Ryan Reynolds Shares Ridiculous Original Pitch for Deadpool 2

Ryan Reynolds Shares Ridiculous Original Pitch for Deadpool 2
Deadpool 2, if Ryan Reynolds had it his way from the very start, would have been absolutely ridiculous. And that's certainly taking into account the notion that Deadpool 2 is not an inherently serious movie. By nearly every measure, it turned out to be a very successful sequel as is, though, it took a lot of work in the development process to get the movie to that point. This is evidenced by Reynolds' original pitch for the sequel, which would have mostly centered around the chair from The Voice.

The Super Duper Cut was recently released, which contains 15 minutes of extra footage. Ryan Reynolds was promoting the home video release on Jimmy Fallon's show when the host prompted him to discuss an early idea he had for the sequel, once the first movie had found great commercial success. Here's what Reynolds had to say.

Ryan Reynolds Shares His Original Story Pitch For Deadpool 2 That No One Was Impressed With

Ryan Reynolds and the Deadpool creative team were on cloud nine after Deadpool ended up being a huge hit at the box office and it didn't take long for them to get to work on developing a sequel. The first thing that happens in that process, though, is to come up with an initial idea for the story and Reynolds pitched a really weird one that the studio was not impressed with.

While talking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, The actor shared the pitch that he made and it involved a heist based around Deadpool stealing the big red chair from the TV show The Voice. As you might imagine, the idea was rejected! He says:

“At the time – my first pitch to the studio was not met very well. I pitched them for [Deadpool 2]… the whole story of the movie would be Deadpool trying to steal the big,

Deadpool 2 Concept Art Reveals The Original Design For Juggernaut

Juggernaut was always supposed to feature during Deadpool 2, that much we know, but his appearance was almost tailored to suit Tim Miller’s vision, not David Leitch’s.

Before the latter decided to follow up Atomic Blonde with Deadpool 2, Tim Miller was expected to return at the helm for what was, essentially, the Merc’s second solo adventure. Alas, James Cameron and The Terminator reboot came calling, and even to this day, Miller’s vision for the comic book sequel remains shrouded in mystery.

But thanks to concept artist Alexander Lozano (h/t Heroic Hollywood), we now have a better understanding of how Tim Miller envisioned Juggernaut, the muscle-bound mutant capable of giving Colossus a run for his money. Spoilers: it’s decidedly different from the super-sized wrecking ball glimpsed during Deadpool 2‘s finale (and voiced by Ryan Reynolds), as the rugged armor brings to mind Vinnie Jones

Alien Headed To 4K Ultra HD For Its 40th Anniversary

After voting to return Deadpool, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men to their rightful owner late last month – amongst other IP – the pending amalgamation between The Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox hasn’t exactly instilled the same level of optimism for those of us looking beyond the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For those of you who don’t know, last week, a new report from The Wall Street Journal indicated that while Disney does intend to explore both the big and small screen potential of their recently purchased property, the Mouse House will be looking to “scale back production of costly movies that don’t fit its family-friendly, franchise-focused formula.”

Unfortunately, the article did not name names, but you can rest assured franchises like Predator and Alien will undoubtedly suffer under the new regime. That said, the Mouse House doesn’t have control of either extraterrestrial killing machine just yet,

Chris Hemsworth Joked About Switching Superheroes With Ryan Reynolds - Can You Imagine?
Immediately after this shot was taken my son viciously attacked me from behind (due to his ninja training) and slammed my face into the flaming candles , I’ll now be playing Deadpool if @vancityreynolds pulls the pin #bestbirthdayever @elsapatakyconfidential

A post shared by Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth) on Aug 11, 2018 at 2:20pm Pdt

It's pretty clear by now that if you're a celebrity in need of a good social media reply, you can count on Ryan Reynolds. The 41-year-old actor is known for trolling his wife, Blake Lively, on occasion, and recently traded jokes on Twitter with fellow superhero icon Chris Hemsworth. The result of their conversation? Well, just an idea that could turn the whole Marvel universe upside down.

On Aug. 11, Hemsworth shared a birthday snap to his Instagram and Twitter accounts, posing with wife Elsa Pataky smiling by his side. While the picture looked absolutely perfect, he was quick to dispel any false ideas.

Ryan Reynolds Jokes About His Original Pitch For Deadpool 2

After two wildly successful blockbusters in the space of four years, Ryan Reynolds and Wade Wilson are practically one and the same – in the humor department, at least.

Without Reynolds’ zippy one-liners and razor-sharp wit, for instance, the live-action Deadpool movies would cease to exist, as one could argue that there’s no one more suited to the role of a fast-talking jokester than Ryan Reynolds.

Case in point: his original pitch for Deadpool 2, which was revealed during the actor’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (h/t Heroic Hollywood). We’ll give you a clue: it involves the Merc sneaking into The Voice HQ and stealing one of those fancy revolving chairs…

My first pitch to the studio was not met very well. I pitched them that for the sequel, the whole story of the movie would be Deadpool trying to steal the big, red chair from The Voice.

20 Things Wrong With The X-Men Movies We All Choose To Ignore

There are many people who believe that you can’t complain about a fantastical movie not making sense. After all, we see situations play out that have absolutely no basis in reality, so why does the film have to match up to reality. However, in reality, that is just lazy storytelling and once you set up the rules of the world a movie takes place in, you then have to follow them.

Considering the X-Men movies can be a great deal of fun, at times it can be pretty easy to look past scenes that play out in an illogical fashion when you have a smile on your face. However, even in those cases, there is a strong possibility that once the movie comes to an end and you begin to reflect on it, the problems may eat you unless you actively ignore them. A series that is pretty notorious
