Welcome to Gatlin: The Sights and Sounds of Children of the Corn (2009)
*** (out of 4)
Art director Craig Stearns and composer Jonathan Elias are interviewed for this fifteen minute featurette that can be found on the Anchor Bay release of the 1984 cult film CHILDREN OF THE CORN. Stearns spends the majority of his time discussing what it was like working on a horror movie and why they're so much fun because you can let your imagination run wild. He also talks about the low-budget and what this meant when you were on the set and had to take it into consideration. Elias obviously spends his time talking about the score and what he wanted to get out of it. If you're a fan of CHILDREN OF THE CORN then you're going to enjoy hearing these stories. Both men come across as quite entertaining and share some nice stories about the making of the picture.
