The best fighter in the world works two jobs. The only problem... he doesn't know he's the best. Ringo Duran, the son of Gracie Duran, a famous Argentinian kick boxer, works two jobs to make ends meet. His passion, full contact fighting. His goal, fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a professional fighter. Ringo has put off attempts at a professional career for so long he has nearly succumbed to age. When the Maximum Cage Warrior(MCW) league, the preeminent full contact fighting promoters, announce a competition to select the best undiscovered fighter, Ringo's friends urge him to join. Ringo, once again, claims he is not ready. Even KARA, Ringo's love interest, pushes him to join, but Ringo resists. Will he fulfill his life long dream and continue his mothers legacy? Will he be the best fighter in the world? Written by Brad Bode & hector Echavarria & Dan
I started watching this film wasn't expecting much from it but it was just surprisingly good! I especially love the music and editing especially the camera work, all the slow mo and "shaky-cam" weren't over done but rather put together in a graceful yet exciting manner, got to love a movie that can convey the heart of a fighter from the screen to its audience - and this is often rather difficult to pull off, prime example of such failure can be seen in movies like "fighting", for instance. I'm thoroughly surprised and impressed and would recommend it to anyone who like fight movies! Be warned though this movie does contain quite a bit of violence (obviously...) and a fair bit of nudity - and i'm definitely not complaining..AT ALL!
