Great Film
5 May 2013 | by See all my reviews

I enjoyed this film very much. I saw it at the International Black Man's Film Festival in Atlanta. Very important messages and wonderful performance by the artists. Learning about the political and economic situations that existed in Senegal was an eye opener. Using music as a weapon is a powerful thing. Music has such a wonderful way of uniting the masses. Seeing the influence that American hip hop continues to have on a worldwide basis it great. No mater what language...which dialect the talent that it takes to write and spit rhymes is evident. Empowering and educating our youth will always affect change for the good.
