92 minutes of laughter and fun.
25 March 2012 | by See all my reviews

"Torrente 4" is fourth instalment of the adventures of cheesy police "José Luis Torrente". This time we found our anti-hero in a delicate situation. After several failed attempts to lead a decent life (as if that were possible trapped in his own skin), decides to accept a dangerous assignment that makes an old friend This film is pure Torrente in, and since it is the 4th installment and who is expected anything else from what we find is that the footage was terribly lost. Santiago Segura dares to make films with no entertainment, "Torrente 4" is pure fun eschatological. The viewer has to know in advance what you will see in this sequel, and leave happy because that is what is: 92 minutes of fun and laughter.

It is also commendable effort by Santiago Segura make the film in 3D. Few directors would dare Spanish with something, and in fact, few directors are able to achieve results as good as "Torrente 4". It is clear that the issue is not the most suitable for 3D, but bravo for doing so.

Another thing is the subject of proceedings: to see which has more merit direct: "Bardem" or "Cañita Brava"? Just so you will have to "suffer" Santiago Segura during filming directing many "friks" with zero skills of action and deserve the Goya for best director.
