Good Luck Charlie (2010–2014)
The Disney Channel has confirmed their hit diverse coming of age tv series, Andi Mack, will be returning for a third season.
The current cast of Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Lilan Bowden, Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie and Asher Angel all found out the news while on ABC’s Good Morning America yesterday.
Marsh said, “A series about a girl discovering that her sister is really her mother was new territory for Disney Channel, but Terri’s honest, authentic storytelling allowed our audience to connect deeply to these characters and their journeys of self-discovery. What she has crafted stands as a high-water benchmark for kids and family storytelling around the world.”
The Disney Channel keep hitting the right notes with teenage audiences, Andi Mack only premiered in the UK on Disney Channel in March 2017, and has reached more than 40 million total viewers and nearly 17 million kids worldwide. The winning
The last few years have given all Disney Channel kids hope with the return of That’s So Raven and Boy Meets World via their respective spinoffs, Raven’s Home and Girl Meets World. (Adult Shawn Hunter, anyone?) If you love baby Sarah Jessica Parker and the Sanderson sisters as much as the rest of the world, you probably jumped for joy when a Hocus Pocus remake was announced. Oh, and who can forget the huge news that the Wildcats will return to East High in High School Musical 4?
Sure, all of these reboots are great, but so many more
Andi Mack's second season premiere will feature one of the show's main characters, Cyrus (Joshua Rush), beginning to realize he has feelings for a male classmate.
The episode, which airs on Friday, shows Andi (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) sorting out her feelings for her classmate Jonah (Asher Angel), while Cyrus realizes that he, too, has feelings for Jonah. Cyrus confides in his and Andi's best friend, Buffy (Sofia Wylie), as he struggles to determine how to tell his new girlfriend. Buffy's reaction is intended to serve as a positive example for both children and adults.
"Andi Mack is a story about tweens figuring out who they are; [creator] Terri Minsky, the cast and everyone involved in the show takes great care in ensuring that it's appropriate for all audiences and sends a powerful message about inclusion and respect for humanity," a Disney Channel spokesperson said in a statement
As the show returns for a sophomore season, it’s revealed that Andi (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) isn’t the only character with a crush on one of the boys at school, Jonah Beck (Asher Angel). Her pal Cyrus (Joshua Rush) suddenly realizes that he’s interested in Jonah as well.
According to information released by Disney Channel: “This realization begins an important part of his journey to self-discovery as a gay individual and ultimately, his self-acceptance. In the episode, Cyrus confides in Buffy. The scene, and what Buffy says to Cyrus, makes for positive role models for kids and adult viewers. In subsequent episodes, Cyrus begins to understand himself, and can count on supportive friends Buffy and Andi who, as teenagers, are also on a journey to self-discovery.
Already considered groundbreaking for its handling of unconventional pregnancies — the show’s titular character (played by Peyton Elizabeth Lee) learns that her “older sister” is actually her mother — the coming-of-age dramedy will soon introduce the network’s first gay character.

You won’t find any gluten in Leigh-Allyn Baker‘s home — but don’t call it a “junk”-free space.
“They don’t eat chemical junk, but they still get to eat junk — they just eat natural junk,” Baker tells People of her and husband Keith Kauffman‘s two sons: Baker James, 4½, and Griffin Samuel, 8.

GLAAD confirmed the news at a panel titled “Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Trends on TV Today” at the Television Critics Association press tour. Sykes is no stranger to children’s television, having signed on to play a recurring role on “Vampirina,” the newest show from “Doc McStuffins” creator Chris Nee. De Rossi recently voiced a character on the less family-friendly “Family Guy.”
The series follows Dottie “Doc” McStuffins, who wants to be a doctor, just like her mother. Using her magic stethoscope, she is able to bring her toys and stuffed animals to life, and practice her healing skills on their ailments. She gives them check-ups and diagnoses them from her “Big Book of Boo Boos.” Each episode includes original music, and
Leigh-Allyn Baker is speaking out about her son’s life with developmental disorder dyspraxia, but know it’s not really her story to tell.
“I struggle with the fact that it’s Griffin, and should I be speaking out about something that’s his, not mine,” Baker says of her 8-year-old son.

While Leigh-Allyn Baker and her husband were working on finding the best treatment plan for their older son Griffin Samuel, 8 — who was diagnosed with the developmental disorder dyspraxia several years ago — their younger child suddenly stopped speaking.
“Everybody’s got something,” Baker tells People in an interview ahead of her August Facebook Live chat with Dyspraxia Foundation USA.

It’s been four years since Leigh-Allyn Baker‘s son Griffin Samuel was first diagnosed with the developmental disorder dyspraxia. And while occupational, behavioral and educational therapy have done wonders for the 8-year-old, he still gets “frustrated.”
“Can you imagine sitting in school and someone is standing up there talking, asking you to pay attention and do your work, and you’ve got to focus on sitting upright, not falling over.
Leigh-Allyn Baker‘s son Griffin Samuel is a smart, talkative and creative 8-year-old. But sometimes, he falls or drops things.
Griffin has dyspraxia, a developmental disorder that affects coordination, among other things.
“He’s far advanced in many areas, but then there are other areas like standing on one foot, holding a pencil or writing that are just extremely difficult for him,” the actress tells People ahead of her August Facebook Live chat with Dyspraxia Foundation USA.
The teen-centered series has been renewed for a second season, it was announced Thursday.
From Lizzie McGuire creator Terri Minsky, Andi Mack centers on a 13-year-old girl's typical — and not so typical — life with her family and friends.
Minsky executive produces the show with Michelle Manning (The Breakfast Club, Teen Beach 2). Phil Baker (Good Luck Charlie) serves as co-executive producer on the Horizon Productions half-hour.
Peyton Elizabeth Lee stars in the title role on the series, which begins production on season two in Salt Lake City in July.
